NEW YORK – February 4, 2016 – Smartling today announced that 2015 was the most successful year in company history. The fastest-growing translation technology company closed out the year with a stellar Q4, driven by a 55 percent increase in quarter-over-quarter bookings growth.
Smartling now serves six of the top 10 software companies, two of the top three global hotel chains, two of the top three major airlines, and five of the top eight fashion/apparel brands.
Smartling’s Global Fluency Platform is transforming the way global content is created, consumed and managed. The company helps the world’s most ambitious brands access new markets, more customers and greater revenue by creating native brand experiences that successfully engage local prospects and customers.
“Organizations are increasingly doing business beyond their home market, and consequently, there has never been a greater need to personalize customer engagement for audiences around the world,” said Jack Welde, Smartling’s Co-Founder and CEO. “We help our customers achieve a more competitive global position through localized content and native brand experiences that resonate in every language, all cultures and any market. Our success over the last few years is a testament to our industry-leading technology, dedicated employees and unwavering devotion to helping our customers transform their global content strategy into a proven growth strategy. And 2016 is already shaping up to be another big year for our company.”
Agile Translation Management In 2015, Smartling greatly strengthened its suite of Enterprise Platform Connectors, demonstrating a continued commitment to providing its customers with a complete end-to-end global content solution. The company’s connectors seamlessly integrate translation into leading content management systems, eCommerce platforms, eMarketing solutions and source code repositories.
Q4 additions to Smartling’s connector portfolio include the Translation Connector for SAP® hybris® Commerce and a certified LINK cartridge for Demandware. Both solutions enable users to connect to Smartling’s Global Fluency Platform to facilitate translation and localization processes without leaving the familiar SAP and Demandware environments. These latest offerings join a number of integrations in Smartling’s connector ecosystem, including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Sitecore and Drupal™/Acquia® – all built on Smartling’s comprehensive API.
